Case Studies
Regional Cooperation
Peach will expand its route network connecting regions in order to create the flow of new people, things, and experiences. In addition, we will work with our various partners to promote further community revitalization while working toward a sustainable coexistence society, where communities and Peach grow together for years to come.
Expanding our network and exchange of people, things, and experiences
Aiming to serve as a bridge for Asia, Peach operates 28 domestic routes and 19 international routes.
We will work to maintain and expand our route network connecting different regions and increase visitors and people’s relationships as an essential regional public transportation infrastructure.
In addition, we will work to further the exchange of people, things, and experiences among people by actively developing and expanding services that encourage people to visit places they have never been to before. These services include the “Peach Hodai (Peach Unlimited Pass)” flat-rate ticket service, and “Tabikuji (Lucky Trip Fortunes)”, a travel lottery in which customers do not know where they are going until they draw a destination.

Working with regional partners
In June 2021, Peach formed a comprehensive tie-up agreement with the city of Izumisano, Osaka Prefecture, located across the water from Peach’s hub of Kansai Airport. A similar agreement was formed in July 2021 with the Tokyo University of Agriculture, which has a campus in eastern Hokkaido, one of Peach’s destinations. Peach will draw on the strengths of both of these agreements to revitalize communities and to develop industries and human resources.
Furthermore, with our in-flight service of collecting hometown taxes (Furusato Nozei), the first service of its kind to be offered in Japan, we are taking on the challenge of cooperating not only with the route destinations of Peach but also with a wide range of municipalities that are not near airports.
Peach will continue to work with our various partners including local governments, companies, educational and research institutions, and NPOs to create new business opportunities that will contribute to further regional revitalization and create a virtuous cycle in which we grow together with regional communities.
